Story With Dialog

“Why would you switch to the 200 meter dash, when that is the one event that I can actually win.”

“Because my four by one team is horrible and I can’t do the 100 meter because it is right after the hurdles. Why does it matter to you Trevor?”

“Because it is the one event that I am really good at and that I am not in with you.”

“I might not even be good at it anyways. I just wanted to try it to see how good I am at it.”

“Sure you did.”

Trevor walks away and no one says a word to him because they know that he is still furious with the idea of me do the one event that he wins every time. This is because I can beat him in the other two events that we do together. I walk over to Parker is starts talking to him about what is all going on.”I don’t get why Trevor is so mad at me. It’s not like I am trying to beat him in everything or anything like that.”

“Yeah, but that was the one event that he didn’t do with you and he could actually win.”

“It’s not like he still can’t win it. I might not even be that good at it. I am not good at long distance.”

“Yeah, but if you do beat him. He will be even more mad because every event that he does you would be doing. And in everyone one you would be better than him.”

“I guess… Hopefully he won’t be that mad at me. At least not for that long.”

“I hope you know that he is going to talk crap about you for this because that is the kind guy he is. When he doesn’t get what he wants he is a big baby about it.”

“Yeah… I will deal with it. It’s not like he has anything agents me or anything. A lot of people doesn’t like him anyways.”

There is a long silence between the two because neither of them know what to talk about. They just decide to lay off the situation and go play some basketball.

“I’ve learned one thing today that I’ve got out of this whole things.”

“What is that?”

“Some people over react over little siutaions.”

The two walk away and laugh.
